Today Monday May Twenty-Ninth around 20:00, I recieved a phone call that my father-in-law passed away. He was struggling the last few days in the Ageo Cancer Center in Saitama, and finally passed tonite…
He was a very open minded 70 year old photographer, and many times traveled to America, and everywhere else in the world.
He was a great inspiration to me…He supported all of my photo events, and music bookings, and even came to a few of my events.
The last event he attended was “bad language” at Aoiheya, He came out with his camera, black leather blazer, and a funky tie, and fell asleep on the coach at one point!
He used up my drink tickets, I introduced him to “Masako Togawa-san”.
And he lived through “Pretty Militia’s” live, and “Shoko and Hitsuji”
He went home on the first train that morning.
It is hard to believe I have been in Japan this long…for some of my friends it’s just a short stay. Kenji met all of my club friends, and they were really cool with him, and didn’t freak him out so much.
And for them it was not so strange for an Ojiichan to be out in the clubs, or Masako’s club…But the fact that we were actually related was the twist.
When I played the main floor at Webster Hall for the “Queen” party (it was a weekly Wednesday night thing),
my mother was hanging out with my “drag” friends, and the queens on the stage! I thought that was shocking for the club kids and queens!?
But they were too fucked up to realise that was my Mother, and well Micheal Alig dragged his mom around and even drugged her up…
Living in Japan has taught me a lot of amazing things and showed me simply and mistifying discoveries.
“how when a girl becomes a woman, and she discovers love. when she moans in extasy, as she is making love, the same sounds are as of the pain during her child’s birth…”
“and how a parent or a father will change his childs diaper and clean his child, and when he is on his death bed, this child will do the same for father.
I watched the daughter change her fathers daipers, as he did once before.
It may be hard to understand what I am trying to say…
I miss him, and all of my friends that died of HIV or CANCER in new york, and my older brother who also died of HIV last year…
I TOOK PHOTOS IN THE CLUBS , IT WAS MARTIN-X AND FUSHIA DOLL & BELLA, DOING PARTIES DOWNSTAIRS IN THE CHAPEL OF LIMELIGHT.

NOBODY PAID ME NO ATTENTION, TILL I STARTED DEEJAYING…MARTIN BOOKED ME IN THE LIMELIGHT, TENNESSE WAS PLAYING ALOT THEN, AND ALSO SISTER DIMENSION, AND KEOKI WERE PLAYING ALOT ON THE MAIN FLOOR….
I WAS THE DEEJAY AT OUR WEEKLY EVENT IN THE BALCONY OF THE BALLANGER’S VIP ROOM.

ANYWAY ONCE WE WERE AT WEBSTER-HALL AND HAD DOUG FUCKED-UP AT OUR PARTY WEEKLY, WE KNEW WE COULD GET PAID AND BRING OUR ORIGINAL AND FIRST OFFICIAL RUNWAY CLUB-KID PARTY TO LIFE.
THE WORLD AND THE BUILDING AND THE PALLADIUM WERE TORN DOWN.
